Career Consultations

Professional career coaches will offer personalized, one-on-one career consulting which will take place over the course of the conference. This consultation is neutral, confidential, and not part of any company recruiting initiative. Participants meet to discuss career-related issues they have including career development, CV/resume writing, cover letter writing, leadership development, professional etiquette, networking, diversity, conflict resolution, and others. Each consultation will last 30 minutes.

TAKE NOTE: These consultations occur live at the Austin Convention Center for attendees of WE17. You are registering for a specific time with your career coach. There is no waitlist, but if it is sold out, you can check closer to the conference date to see if anyone cancels their time. ALL TIMES IN CENTRAL TIME.

Consultant/Career Coach bios:

Stephanie Bray
Stephanie Bray is a Co-Active Coach with 15 years of professional experience. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Advertising from University of Illinois and later completed the Coaches Training Program at CTI. Her experience includes marketing, advertising, sales, social media, success management, SaaS, and coaching. After spending most of her career working with major brands and corporations on their marketing strategies, Stephanie discovered her passion for helping individuals develop their own personal brands and career strategies. In addition to leading personal branding workshops, Stephanie has coached clients in all types of careers including business executives, lawyers, realtors, and new entrepreneurs.

Diane Dean, MA, MCC
Diane’s expertise in how people learn and communicate enables her to shorten the time it takes people to learn new ways to approach situations that are challenging them. An Executive Coach since 1988 and Master Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation since 2000, Diane has the skills and experience to guide people to focus and to make good career decisions. For more than 25 years, she has facilitated rapid and successful change for clients, individually and in teams. Diane’s experience includes executive and management coaching, career management, communication, leadership development, presentation skills and meeting facilitation.

Candace Avila
Candace Avila has over 15 years of experience in the fields of counseling and career coaching. She earned a Master’s of Education in Counseling from University of Texas Pan American in 1995, completed training through Coach U, and is a NLP-Practioner. Her experience includes being counselor, program director, coach, public speaker, business owner, mother and more. Candace uses a multitude of techniques that feel good while sparking growth, insight, and change.

Christie Hays
Christie Hays is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Coach dedicated to helping women find – and proudly own – their femininity, thrive in the corporate world, and create lives where perfectionism and burnout are things of the past. Christie has over 12 years of corporate training, project/product management, leadership, client relations, and counseling experience. Christie is able to uniquely combine her past corporate experience with her counseling knowledge to help driven, passionate women get back to living the life they want to live.
